In an effort to speed up the development of cities and strengthen its “easy commercial” authorization, the government Andhra Pradesh introduced a 72 -hour policy permission to authorize height buildings.
The new standard operational procedure (SOP), revealed by the main secretary for the city administration and development of S. Suresh Kumar, on Friday (August 8), orders all eligible height building proposals defined as structures with 12 or more floors, including portable development rights (TDR) (SLA) (SLA) (SLA) (SLA) (SLA) (SLA) (SLA) (SLA) (SLA) (SLA) (SLA) (SLA) are approved within a strict level (SLA).
The aim of the initiative, framed to eliminate bureaucratic delays, is to attract more investment and ensure a quick and transparent permit, he added. This is followed by a review of past deficiencies in the approval mechanisms, while the director of the city and country planning (DTCP) was designed to propose a more efficient process that the government has now approved.
Within the SOP, a special cell was set up in the DTCP office in Mangalagiri to process only height applications. Once the proposal is submitted, automated DTCP intimation, the relevant commissioner or vice -chairman and the zoning planning section, leads in the affected city local authority (ULB) or development office.
The process of the site’s inspection is strictly limited in time, within 36 hours the head of the commissioner and the territorial section of the spatial planning must visit the place, fill in the prescribed inspection proform with photographs and upload it to the AP management portal (APDPMS). Any delay automatically escalates the DTCP issue for action. The site report, including details of all court cases, must also be provided in the same 36 -hour window.
Then the DTCP will be held in the DTCP Office to complete the approval in the total 72 -hour period. The whole workflow is digitally integrated into the APDPMS portal for trouble -free tracking and responsibility.
All commissioners, including Apcrda, VMRDA, other city development offices, city corporations, municipalities and Nagar Panchayats, were instructed to strictly follow the new procedure.
