22 -year -old Ben Shelton makes all the right sounds in men’s tennis. The American star won the greatest victory of her novice career by defeating Karen Khanov in the final of the National Bank Open, the prestigious ATP 1000 events in Toronto. At this level it meant his first title, which was the youngest American who won the Masters 1000, because 21 -year -old Andy Roddick won in Miami in Miami in 2004.
Shelton, who reached the Australian Open semifinals and the Wimbledon quarterfinals at the beginning of this year, introduced his temperament of a big match from behind. The explosive left -handed will head to the US Open, from August 27, as one of the key names to be monitored.
