The incident allegedly occurred on July 23, 2025 in Manchester and Ali was arrested and released on bail while the investigation continues.The Pakistani cricket council (PCB) confirmed the investigation of Ali, who was in England as part of the 15 -day Shaheens team, which began on July 22. Shaheens represents Pakistan in the second level of international cricket competitions.“It is said that the incident occurred on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at the Manchester premises,” Greater Manchester said. “The man has been saved for more questions since then.”After a standard British police protocol, the authorities did not officially name the investigation at this stage.Ali, who debuted in 2020, represented Pakistan in two one -day international and 35 T20 matches.PCB statement on the arrest of Haider Ali and the investigation of a crime:“The PCB has been informed about the criminal investigation currently conducted by the Greater Manchester police, which includes a haider ali cricket,” PCB said. “The investigation concerns the incident that allegedly occurred during the recent Shaheens in England.“The PCB fully respects the United Kingdom’s legal procedures and processes and recognizes the importance of allowing the investigation at the right time.
