The cousin of actor Hum Qureshi was reportedly murdered for a parking dispute in the Nizamuddin area in Delhi. The police said the incident occurred on Thursday around 22:30 in Yangpura Bhogal Lane of Nizamuddin. Two accused were arrested in connection with the murder.
The police said there was a dispute between Humin’s brother Asif Qureshi (42 years) and two men over the two -wheel parking in front of the main gate of his house.
After the argument, the accused attacked Asif with sharp weapons.
Asif was transported to the nearest hospital in a critical condition where doctors declared him dead, India reported today.
Police in Delhi said: “The man, Asif Qureshi s/o ialyas qureshi, r/o bhogal, yangpura, 42 years old, was murdered 7. 8. 2015 around 22:30 after an argument with accusation in a shadow score.”
“During the quarrel, one of the accused attacked a sharp pointed object (poker) on the chest, which resulted in the death of the victim. Company No. 233/25 U/S 103 (1)/3 (5) BNS was registered on 08.08.25.”
They said the accused were identified as Ujjwal at the age of 19 and Gautam, at the age of 18.
“Both of them were detained. Another investigation of this matter is underway,” the police said in Delhi.
Meanwhile, Asif’s wife Sainaz Qureshi told the police that he also had previously chosen the fight for the same parking problem with him.
On Thursday, she said that when Asif returned from work, he saw the neighboring two -wheel wheels in front of the main entrance of the house, asking them to remove him from there.
Instead of removing the vehicle from the site, however, the neighbors began to abuse asif and then attacked it with sharp weapons, she said.
Another investigation is underway.
The victim was associated with actor Bollywood, who has not yet issued a public statement.
