In a world that is increasingly dominated by startups, side noise and screens, one woman in Pune shows that simple, offline experiences still have the power to gain heart- and generate income.

According to Nitin Attri, Viral LinkedIn Post earns 28 -year -old RS1.2 Lakh per month by organizing sunset laws from the balcony of her 2Bhk apartment in Pune.
Chai, conversations and balcony
There is no fantastic cafe, no cloud cuisine and no sophisticated logistics behind its business. Instead, guests are invited to her house to an intimate assembly over regional tea, refreshments and local stories with the background of Sunset Pune.
Mr. Attri shared how he was doing it. The woman hosts 6-8 seating guests, gives traditional teas and homemade refreshments and shares personal or local stories as part of the experience. Pay between £1400 and £2,000 per person and performs 3-4 sessions every week.

With minimal overhead costs and without a budget for digital marketing, its guests will find it via Google Maps, Instagram coils and mouths.
“People come for Chai, but they will remain for stories, city views and breaks from their screens,” writes in his post atri.
Rise
What started as an initiative of one woman now raises a larger trend. From Kochi to Rishikesh, more Indians are exploring the idea of offering a hyper-blocked, domestic experience of their living spaces. Some include live music, poetry, art workshops or even demos of cooking-converting a modest balcony into cultural microbub.
“The balcony becomes a product. The host becomes a brand,” Attri notes.
It is part of a wider shift in how people spend weekends. With increasing fatigue and desire for authentic and meaningful interactions, more urban residents are looking for offline, low-stimulative social experiences-and they are willing to pay for them.
More than just tea
While Chai remains the peak, it is clear that this model is more than a hot drink. It is about creating a community in a rapidly developing city, offering exclusivity in small curatorial groups and converting everyday spaces into heat and connection sites.
