The mother of the Congress leader Raja Narsing Rao was discovered in the agricultural well in the village of Nachupally, the codimial mandal in Jagtial, Thursday.
The victim, identified as Premlatha, 70, was reportedly blocked to death with the boulder unidentified attackers who then threw their body into the well. The villagers found the body soon on Thursday and alerted the police. Her body was obtained and sent to post mortem.
The Codimia Police are under investigation to find out the motive of the murder.
This comes shortly after two similar murders have been reported in Telangana within 24 hours in July.
