Tigress was found dead in a series of Lakkavalli series Bhadra Wildlife Division in the Chikkamagalur district on Thursday. It is said that a wild animal at the age of about seven years died because of injuries that suffered in the fight with another tiger.
The leading officials visited the place after the staff noticed the carcasses of the molded body. The veterinarian from NR Pura made a post mortem and collected samples from the body for further examination. The blaings were examined by metal detectors to check if the bullets were injured.
The blaings were burned according to the instructions for determination in the presence of the assistant of the Santosh Sagar forest, the wild game activists G. Veeresh and Madhu mugathihatli and representatives of the local Panchayat.
