
The legendary stimulator Glenn McGrath again predicted the predictions of his trademark in front of the ashes and supported Australia to complete the 5-0 white-and-white in England in 2025-26. The former fast pitch, who played a key role in the six Ashes victories during his famous career, believes that the domestic conditions and the Australian inhabited core will show too strong for Ben Stokes.
“It is a very rare prediction for me, isn’t I? And I can’t do another – 5-0,” said McGrath BBC Radio 5 Live, maintaining a tradition that he rarely deviated from.
A series of five matches, starting on November 21, will mark the first Australian homework in the new cycle of the World Test Championship. While England defended itself to ensure a thrilling 2-2 draw in the ashes of 2023 at home, since 2015 it has not kept the urn. When the competition returned to faster, bouncy tracks in Australia, McGrath expects the hosts to re -indicate their dominance.
Australia last recorded 5-0 ashes on home ground in 2013-14, and the McGrath series often quotes as a gold standard for a ruthless, disciplined test cricket. Whether the current party can replicate this performance is to be seen, but McGrath’s bold prognosis has again set the tone for the strongest cricket rivalry.
