In principle, Manchester United achieved an agreement with RB Leipzig to sign the Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesko, according to the report by David Ornstein Athletic. The agreement is expected to be 76.5 million plus another 8.5 million in supplements, which will be 85 million.
The 22 -year -old man was reportedly granted a flight to Manchester and underwent medical care before his transfer to Old Trafford. As soon as the formalities have been completed, Sesko will become the third attacking signature of the summer under the new manager Ruben Amorim after the arrival of Matheus Cunhy and Bryan Mbeumo.
In recent years, Sesko has been one of the most observed offensive talents in Europe because it had a significant impact on the Bundesliga. The 21 -year -old man scored 21 goals in all competitions last season and scored 39 goals and 8 assists in 87 Liipziga performances from 2023. Previously, United was also considered for Ollie Watkins Aston Villa, but interviews for Villa’s crowded award. With other goals, such as Joao Pedro and Liam Delap heading to Chelsea, Sesko proved to be one of the few remaining elite attackers.
The addition of SESKO is part of a major offensive overhaul in Carrington after a faint campaign in which United managed only 44 goals in 38 Premier League games – their lowest sum in the modern era. The incoming trio is expected to create a completely transformed front line for the 2025-26 season.
With Skak’s signature, which is approaching to complete, the Danish striker Rasmus Hojund is expected to be moved, although his recent comments express the desire to stay and fight for their place under Amorim. Last season he managed only four goals in the league and sources indicate that the club sees SESKO as a long -term solution for No. 9.
Sesko joins the ambitious United Side, which tries to bounce back after an unsatisfactory campaign and reappear as a candidate for a title.
