The Minister of Food and Civic Deliveries of GR Anil on Wednesday launched a nationwide division of 43,000 newly approved priority ration cards.
On this occasion, the Minister said that the government of the left democratic front (LDF) identified 2,94,578 unparalleled families holding priority cards. Up to 17,596 cards were seized from unfit card holders through the government intensive verification drive “Operation Yellow”. As part of this effort, more than 5,29,000 ration cards have been assigned since the LDF government has reached power.
He explained that the revision of the priorities list is an ongoing process, he said: “If a family member ensures government work or the family’s income will exceed the capacity of the capacity, they will be removed from the list,” he said.
He added that requests for new priority card assignments will be accepted online from 16 to 15 September.
The Minister also emphasized a significant increase in sales in Supplyco stores. Crore 168.28 GBP was reported only for July, with a daily diameter of 6.5 crore.
