
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to travel to China and Japan around 29 August, people who are with this matter, told PTI on 6 August.
This will be the first visit to PM Modi in China after, after the 2020 military resignation in Galwan along the real inspection line (LAC) in the eastern Ladak, they got under serious voltage 2020.
The visit will be due to the efforts of India and China to improve bilateral ties.
During the summit, a possible meeting between Prime Minister Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping is particularly expected. Both leaders met the last during the BRICS Summit in Russia in October 2024.

The visit to Jaishankar in China is expected to place the foundations for the expected visit of PM Modi in Beijing at the SCO leaders.

In the first stage of Narendra Modi, Japan is expected to organize annual interviews with his Japanese counterpart.
A visit to PM Modi in Japan would be his first since May 2023, when he participated in a group of seven summit in Hiroshima, Western Japan.
