
Kereral’s government decided to introduce a special system of subsidy loans that would support business as part of the Tourism program friendly for women who were made by tourist department. This program will be made together by Kerala State Women Development Corporation (KSWDC) and a responsible tourist mission.
The decision was taken at a meeting held here on Tuesday in the presence of the Minister of Public Work and Tourism by PA Mohammad Riyas and the Minister of Women and the Development of Children Veen George.
The aim of this program is to provide loans for 4% interest for companies registered within the system of responsible tourist missions for women. About 18,000 people have already registered within the system. They expressed interest in starting companies in approximately 24 categories. The aim of this system is to ensure that the loans are subject to the conditions laid down by the KSWDC, the Minister of Tourism said, adding that the Ministry of Tourism for this system has allocated CRORE 4 GBP.
‘Model’
“The KSWDC will provide all support for tourism support for friendship. The Minister also added that cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism would become a model in the women’s business sector.
The responsible Executive Director of the Tourism Mission K. Rupeshkumar and the CEO of KSWDC Bindu VC were entrusted with coordination of project activities.
