About 60% of services were affected by the strike. Currently, newly appointed drivers and contract drivers run.
Of the 750 buses, which were operated daily in the Mysuru rural division, only 200 buses were functional, and only on selected routes.
To manage the crisis, private operators were allowed to operate services from the MOFUSIL bus booth in Mysur.

KSRTC Divisional Controller (rural) Srinivas told Hindu that services are partly functional using 100 trainee drivers and 170 contracts. “They can’t join the strike and reported to service,” he said.
As an alternative measure, private buses from the bus stand after the meeting convened by the Commissioner, the superintendent of the police and regional transport official, added.
The bus stand was wearing an abandoned look with less passengers.
Mr. Srinivas said he was heading for buses to Bengalur, especially for electric and air -conditioned buses. “Due to the strike we cannot operate all planned services, but important routes are covered,” he added.
According to various taluk reports, passengers were left imprisoned due to sudden disturbance of public transport. As part of Majur, the strike caused a serious inconvenience because passengers inside the city were imprisoned at the city bus booth. Authorickshaws and Cab Services have seen an increase in demand for strike.
