On Monday evening, heavy rains stopped for grinding on several parts of Hyderabad, when the roads of roads and top overload remained commuting stuck for hours.

The Masab Tank overview and the neighboring are towards Ayodhya Junction, Shadan College, Nirankari Bhavan and Khairatabad have also seen strong traffic.

Many of them took social media to express frustration. “Indian the fastest growing city brought to his knees with one rain … 3.8 km, 46 minutes and counting (sic),” wrote commuting on X and published a picture of his Google Map routes on Road No. 3, Banjara Hills.
The traffic police continued sharing live updates in the ground situation throughout the evening and cooperated in coordination with the Agency for Reaction to Disaster in Hyderabad and on the Protection of Asset (Hydraa) and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to drive vehicles and clean submarine sections. Officers were deployed at key points of the choke to regulate movement and help in redirecting the operation, while the civic teams were pushed into operation to draw stagnant water and clear blocked drains.
