An employee of the Ministry of Social Security died, who allegedly tried to end his life.
Suresh, 57, who was sent in the postma hostel of the Ministry of Gadikoppa, Shivamogg, allegedly tried to end his life on July 31. He was admitted to McGann Hospital in the city where he died on Monday. His wife and two children survived.
It was said that Suresh often worked as a cook in the official residence of the senior bureaucrat in the district.
Police Kote registered a report of unnatural death based on the statement of their family members. According to family members, he had health problems and was afraid of erasing a house loan.
However, there were reports that Suresh was disappointed as a higher official in a department who rebuked him for being absent in his duties without informing higher.
D. Malleshasppa, Deputy Director of the Social Security Department, told the Hindes that according to his family members, he had ended his life due to health problems and loans. “The ministry has not issued any announcement to seek to explain,” he added.
