
On Monday, the special main secretary (disaster proceedings) ordered officials to take preventive measures to control floods in a larger Warangal during the current monsoon season.
At the inspection meeting held at the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC), with the collector of Warangal and Hanamkond Satya Sharada and Sneha Shabarish, and the GWMC Chahat Bajpai Commissioner, stressed the need for coordinated life and property measures. He ordered the authorities to identify areas susceptible to floods, prepare for evacuation and relief plans, and ensured that the main polish were forced to prevent water stagnation. He also stated that the flood waters entering the city should be diverted, the forces of the reaction to disasters (DRF), the state strength of the reaction to disasters (SDRF) and the teams of the district fire department should be kept prepared, while six national teams for reaction to disasters (NDRF) are available at any emergency situation. Mr. Kumar also emphasized the need to use “Apada Mitra Voluntereers” Services.
“Rehabilitation centers must be kept prepared and the WhatsApp Group created with corporators and city officials of all 66 GWMC divisions for continuous coordination,” he said, emphasizing the safe supply of drinking water to prevent seasonal diseases.
The representative of the NDRF commander Damodar Singh pointed out that pre -planning could significantly reduce flood damage by allowing early evacuation. District collectors and Commissioner GWMC reported Arvind Kumar about interim measures. Later, officials checked the key locations susceptible to the flood, where Mr. Kumar submitted several proposals to strengthen the flood prevention infrastructure.
