Minister of roads and buildings, investments and infrastructure BC Janardhan Reddy ordered officials to speed up the completion of four fishing ports that developed within Stage 1.
On Monday he chaired the 19th Council of the Council of Andr Pradesh Maritime Infrastructure Development Corporation (APMIDC) on Secretariat, Minister reviewed the progress of ports in Juvvalladinne, Nizampatnam, MachiLipopnam and uppad. He stressed that it was necessary to make the rapid completion of the coastal infrastructure and support the livelihood of local fishing communities.
Mr. Janardhan Reddy also ordered officials to obtain administrative approval from the fishing department for three new ports designed according to the phase of 2-V Pudimadaka, Budagatlapal and Kothapatnam-underly revised estimates. He managed that construction work began without delay as soon as the approval is introduced.
