
Of the 83,054 available utility seats in the State for the Academic Year 2025-26, 77,561 seats (about 93%) were assigned from the first phase assignment of the seats, EAPTEC 2025 Convenor A. Sridevasen informed on Friday.
Eighty two institutions in the state-up of university levels and 76 private institutions recorded 100% assignments. A total of 172 institutions participated in the allocation process, most of them 149 private institutions.
100% assigned and seats were filled with courses such as artificial intelligence, computer engineering, computer science and trading system, CSE (IoT and Cyber Security) and CSE (networks).
Complete assignments were also in various electronic and electric, civilian and other engineering courses such as chemical engineering, geo computer science and agricultural engineering.
According to the web advice for admission to the technical universities, false assignment was published, modifications of probable assignment and allocation in the first phase were adhered to.
Compared to fake assignments, the first phase assignment was recorded by 36,544 candidates that change their college or branch.
The assignment of the category showed that the maximum was for candidates from the BC-B category (15 897), followed by an open category (15 470), BC-D (13 478), ST (7 921) and SC-II (7 842). Gender wise, the assignment of men’s candidates was 54.1% and candidates for 45.9%
In total, more than 95,000 candidates participated in the verification of certificates and 94,354 candidates applied. A total of 6 083 candidates ensured assignment in an economically weaker quota. There are 5,493 seats on Friday.
Mrs. Sridevasena stressed that a separate system of applicants is a compulsory exercise. The process can be completed by logging in on the official website: tgeapt.nic.in
Candidates who acquire the second phase, but do not report to the assigned university, will not be able to perform the possibilities in the final stage of advice.
