
Police Kurnool registered 928 cases on cases that found that in the influence of alcohol and 1,790 against those who consume alcohol in public places in July.
Police manager (SP) Vikrant Patil said on Saturday that strict steps would be taken against those who participate in drunkenness and alcohol consumption in open places. The police did a visible police work to prevent crimes, said SP and added that this would create a sense of security between the public and also reduce traffic accidents.
Mr. Vikrant Patil said that in July the police registered 928 cases of driving under the influence of alcohol and fines ranging from 3,000 to 10,000 GBP. Similarly, he was on those who were caught, in public places, so that 1,000 GBP was penalized in public places.
SP also urged people to observe road safety standards and motor vehicles (MVA) law by wearing a helmet while driving two wheels and using safety belts when sitting in a car. Asked the vehicle user to carry all the required documents when traveling.
