The results of the Indian Forest Service Examination 2025, declared on Friday, highlighted the mentoring efforts of Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat, DGP (Law and Order), with a significant number of successful candidates guided under his initiative.
Of the 148 candidates selected nationally, 84 received interview guidance from Mr. Bhagwat, reflecting his continued involvement in mentoring civil service aspirants. Notably, candidates mentored under this endeavor have secured the 1st rank in the IFS exam for three consecutive years, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Among the achievers is Challa Yamini (AIR 119), daughter of Head Constable Challa Yadgiri of Suryapet Rural Police Station, whose achievement brought recognition to the Telangana Police Department. Notable candidates also include Pawar Akshay Haribhau (AIR 81), from Pathardi in Maharashtra’s Ahilyanagar district.
Mr. Bhagwat expressed his gratitude to fellow mentors, including senior officers and academicians, and congratulated the candidates.
