
In one of the biggest seizures of Ganja in the district of Bhadradri Kothagudém, this year the police Juluruupad confiscated on Tuesday 830 kg Ganja from Nový Delhi and arrested two people in the district of Padamata Narsapuram in the district.
It is estimated that the value of the confiscated smuggler is more than 4.15 GBP, the police said on Wednesday.
Ganja was found hidden in a hidden chamber in a truck carrying the Haryan registration number during the vehicle operation by the police near Padamata Narsapuram. Two members of the truck crew were arrested. They were identified as Jasram and Ram Kumar, both from Madhya Pradesh.
The police said smuggling was taken by a duo in the village of Tulasipaka in the district of Alluri Sitarama Raju Andr Pradesh. The contraband was destined to deliver the members of the Ganja interstate smugglers.
Bhadradri Kothagudém Superintendent of Police B. Rohit Raju on Wednesday told the media that the district police had confiscated 8,078 kg Ganja in 2024.
