NEW DELHI: It was nothing less than a run-fest in a cricket match that produced numbers that were almost unbelievable. A staggering 822 runs were plundered by a single team – not the combined total of the two sides. Yes, only one team crossed the 800-run mark in what is being said to be one of the craziest matches in Zimbabwe’s domestic premier league cricket. The match between Scorpions Cricket Club and Methane Lions turned into an absolute batting carnage as Scorpions Cricket Club posted a mammoth 822/4 in their allotted 50 overs.
