It is expected that up to 80,000 devotees will visit the Sri Kodandarama temple in Vontimitta to witness the “Sita Rama Kalyanam” to be organized by the State Government of April 11.
The Minister of Anam Ramanarayan Reddy Foundations visited the temple together with the authorized district of Kadap and the manual and textile Minister S. Savitha, the Minister for Transport and Youth Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy, Mlcs Bhumireddy Ramagopal Reddy and Beed Ravichar to review.
To park buses coming from the Rajamplet and Kadapa routes, a sufficient parking lot would be developed, and if necessary, local buses will be used to bring dedicated to “Kalyan Radik”, the place of heavenly wedding, Ramanarayana Reddy said.
“The District Administration, TTD machinery and the police department will have to act in a cohesive way to ensure that the event is without an incident, taking into account the huge presence of the VVIP crowd from the whole state,” said Mrs. Savilitha.
The collector of the Kadapa Sridhar Cherkuri district explained that the whole area was divided into 121 galleries to take 12 categories of visitors. 47,770 food packets would be prepared for participants. He also expressed satisfaction in arranging on the queue with hygiene, such as the installation of drinking water kiosks and temporary toilets at the venue.
The joint Executive Director of TTD V. Veerabrahmam announced that it will deploy “Srivari Sevaks” (volunteers) at all favorable points to manage the crowd and also help distribute “Prasadam” to the public. Police (SP) Kadapa, such as Ashok Kumar and the main officer TTD, V. Harshavardhan Raju announced that the whole area will be under the alert eyes of 150 CCTV cameras and drone cameras to ensure the highest security.
