More than 80 universities have expressed interest in the proposal of the industry department in the establishment of industrial parks on campuses in an effort to attract investments, provide students with the opportunity to test their business skills and use the land available on campuses beyond academic requirements.
The sources of the department say that the campus industrial parks will also deal with the problem of lack of land availability in the state. The program will be a great support for the custody of the campus-industry industry and will help to speed up the industrial progress of the state.
Higher educational institutions with five other acres available to you can apply to the program. Standard design factories (SDFS) will require two acres. The institutions will require a developer license and will be made through the committee, including top -class officials from the University Education, Finance, Revenue, Local Government, power, water and environmental resources.
Upon receipt of the developer permit, these institutions will receive government financial support of up to 1.5 GBP Crore for development infrastructure such as roads, energy supply, waste disposal, etc. Even SDF will receive government support. Businesses that are allowed on campuses will be in line with the nature of the institution.
The Committee shall examine whether the soil is suitable for industrial parks and is used for units for pollution. Through these new companies, there will be opportunities for apprenticeships for students.
