
Warangal CP Sunpreet Singh addressed the media in his office in Hanamkon on Tuesday.
In a large breakthrough, the Khanapur Drugs and Police team confiscated 750 kilograms of dry Ganja dry worth an estimated of 3.80 GBP Crore and arrested four people in connection with smuggling near the Chilukamma Nagar forest area in the district.
The accused was in identification as Andla Pandureddy from the Alluri Seetharamaraju district in Andhra Pradesh, Gollari Muniraju mandal in the district of Suryapet.
Police Commissioner Sunpreet Singh, who published details to media persons in Hanamkon, transported a smuggled smuggler in four plastic bags on a motorcycle at the command of the accused Ramesh and Maji Krishny.
“When the accused saw that the accused had tried to escape, but was immediately arrested on Monday. During the interrogation, they confessed to holding a dry Ganja, approximately 750 kg, which included smuggling that was thrown in a secret place in the forest,” CP added.
The accused revealed that 10,000 ₹ were paid for their connection. The investigation revealed that the accused was involved in several smuggling operations, including a previous attempt to sell 120 kilograms of dry Ganja in Bidar.
The case was registered against the accused. CP said they started hunting for the harassment of the accused escape.
The CP congratulated the team involved in the operation, including a special branch of ACP M. Jitender Reddy, a team of drug control team and other staff.
