As part of the national intervention against paid alcohol (NDPL), who were allowed to entertain 73 bottles with alcohol in several places and arrested four individuals for smuggling and unlawful holding of alcohol and drugs.
Hyderabad was seized 56 bottles worth around 2.5 ₹ Lakh in three separate incidents. In one case, the man was caught near the Secunderab Military Hospital in Trimulgherry with 20 bottles of whiskey.
Furthermore, as officials from the State Working Group (STF) carried out inspections of incoming passengers from KSR Bengalur and Rajdhani Express Trains in Secunderab, officials arrested another individual identified as Ajay Singh, with 44 bottles of beer and four bottles of alcohol.
Officials attacked a place at West Marredpally, where it was found that the accused Runeet and Aditya sold 13 grams of Og Kush. They also had 32 bottles of liqueur from Goa, Manipur and Delhi. Both were taken into custody.
Meanwhile, 17 bottles with alcohol were confiscated during the inspections of all vehicles entering Telangana from Goa. Tourist buses, private cars and other vehicles were thoroughly searched on the control column as part of an intensified weekly ride against NDPL.
