Eluru District Collector K. Vetri Selvi on Wednesday said elaborate arrangements have been made to ensure smooth and peaceful conduct of elections for the Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituency (ZPTC) and Mandal Parishad Territorial Constitution (MPTC) elections scheduled for November 5.

While inspecting the distribution of election equipment at the distribution center set up at the Unguturu Mandal Parishad Development Office, she reviewed the arrangements and worked with election staff to ensure their readiness.

Additional security measures have been taken in sensitive and highly sensitive polling stations to avoid any untoward incident, she said.

Každá volební místnost by měla předsedu a jednoho až tři další volební pracovníky v závislosti na počtu voličů. Zaměstnanci byli dvakrát proškoleni o volebních postupech. Polling equipment and staff would be transported to the respective polling stations in designated vehicles, with a line officer accompanying them in each bus.
