A total of 61 railway stations across Karnataka were redeveloped under the Amrit Bharat Station program to provide modern amenities and improve passenger amenities with a total investment of ₹1,981 crore.
Minister of State for Railways V. Somanna shared this information with reporters in Mysuru after inspecting the windows on the KSR Bengaluru-Mandya-Mysuru railway sections and said that the major stations that were utilized for the redevelopment included KSR Bengaluru, Yesvantpur and Bengaluru Cantonment.
