The Minister for the Development of Large and Middle Industry and MB Infrastructure Infrastructure on Monday launched the campus Orchard Hub in the industrial automation of NIDEC Industry India PVT. Ltd., which was developed with an investment of 600 GBP Crore in the industrial area of Belur in Dharwad.
After the inauguration, Mr. Patil said that the plant, which was established using Japanese and French technologies, will provide a direct job of 800 people.
Mr. Patil said that a piece of 20 acres of 20 acres will be provided for the company’s battery tower in the company and heavy machines with a capacity of 2, 3 and 4 MW.
These units will be exported to the US and Europe, and once the device has reached a full capacity, a total of 3,000 jobs will be created, he said.
He said that various equipment and machines needed for the data industry, including the backup generator, the wind generator, the storage of batteries and spare parts that are powered by electricity, will be produced in the plant.
Mr Patil said that the state government is working on the establishment of other industries in North Karnataka by providing them incentives. The government, which is working in the same direction, provides the required land for NIDEC within two years and facilitates the plant to become in operation at the earliest, he said, adding that an ambitious project was completed and the plant became functional.
The Minister also stated that it is necessary for farmers to receive sufficient compensation for agricultural land and responsibility for maintaining the balance between agriculture and industry is on the government.
