55 Cyberabad police inspectors turned in administrative reshuffle

Fifty-five police (civilian) inspectors across police stations, specialist departments and traffic units have been transferred through the Cyberabad Commissionerate as part of an administrative reshuffle. The transfers with immediate effect were made for administrative reasons, as per the order of Police Commissioner M. Ramesh on Friday (July 17, 2026).

Key changes include KV Subba Rao, who was serving as Station House Officer (SHO) at Kukatpally, has been appointed as SHO at Madhapur, while T. Bhoopathi, Deputy Inspector (DI) at Raidurgam, has been appointed as SHO at Raidurgam. G. Prashanth, who was in charge of the Miyapur traffic police station, has been transferred as SHO of Balanagar and G. Vijay Kumar of the cyber crime branch has been posted as SHO of KPHB.

D. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy has been appointed as SHO Narsingi replacing G. Hari Krishna Reddy – who has been transferred to City Training Center or Commissionerate Training Center (CTC).

Other notable transfers include Venkat Reddy, SHO of Allapur, transferred and posted as SHO of Kollur traffic police station, ARES Sridhar of Madhapur traffic police station appointed SHO of Chandanagar, B. Anji Reddy of Special Operations Team (SOT), Serilingampally posted as SHO of Medchal and from the post of C. SHO, Kumar Kumar and C. Jeedimetla.

As part of the reorganization, officers were also transferred to specialized units. Three inspectors – A. Gangadhar, P. Yadi Reddy and A. Manmohan – have been posted in the cyber crime branch, while A. Ramesh Babu and M. Laxma Reddy have been posted in the Economic Offenses Branch (EOW), while E. Venkat Reddy has been posted in the Women and Child Safety Branch.

The order directs all concerned deputy commissioners of police to immediately deputize the transferred police officers and report the discharge of the commissioner’s office.
