Madras High Court informed the Tamil Nadu that 517 villages spread in 32 districts that were free from Seemai Karuvelam (Juliflo’s Prosopis), an exotic and invasive plant species considered harmful to ecology and maintaining groundwater table.
In a report given before the bench of Justices N. Sathish Kumar and D. Bharatha Chakravarthy submitted in front of the leader P. Wilson, the government declared 517 villages that were declared as Seemaii Karuke, and said that eradication was also in other villages.
Amici Curiae T. Mohan, Chevanan Mohan, Rahul Balaji and M. Santhaman warned that the removal should not be sporadic and without common efforts between all relevant government authorities, because there was every chance of growing invasive species.
Judges who are to organize control in the field
The judges agreed to the Curiae amicics and wrote: “The invasive species tends to spread and grow, and therefore the efforts that are handled will become futile if it is not in a common way removed, such as combing and maintaining the Seemaiai Karuvelam area without forever.”
When the judges wanted at least one whole district in Tamil Nadu to be declared a pilot base without Seemai Karuvelam, Wilson said that August 25 was held at a high level and the government would soon come up with an action plan for exotic species with native trees.
After they decided that the judges said that each person could report whether all these villages were indeed exempt from the invasive species and whether there was any re -registed and whether any re -registed and whether there was any reopen Whether there was any availability.
