After a two-month delay, the state government on Thursday issued an order granting 50% fine relief for all cases of unpaid traffic e-challans registered by the police department.
The concession will be available for a limited time from 21 November to 12 December 2025. Earlier, the government announced a 50% discount on all outstanding traffic fines from 23 August to 12 September.
Owners of vehicles with outstanding traffic fines can settle their charges by paying only 50% of the total amount during the concession period, according to the regulation.
How to view and pay pending traffic fines
According to the official version, fines can be paid through various platforms available to facilitate the payment process – through the Karnataka State Police (KSP) app, Bengaluru Traffic Police ASTraM app, by providing the vehicle registration plate at the nearest traffic police station, at the Traffic Management Center and through the Karnataka One/Bangalore One website.
The government expects the initiative to help clear the large number of long-pending e-challan cases across the state.
