
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has now embarked on his eight -day tour with five countries. During the tour – his longest foreign trip in ten years – the Prime Minister will participate in the BRICS major summit in Brazil and expand Indian ties with several key nations of the global south.
The PM trip will be covered by two continents and will include visits to Ghana, Trinidad and Tobaga, Argentina, Brazil and Namibia.

The last eight -day trip of Modi’s Prime Minister was in July 2015 to six nations when he visited Russia and five Central Asian countries. Officials said that the tour will focus, among other things, the defense, minerals of rare soils and cooperation on measures against terror.
It starts today with Ghana
Modi launched his way by planning himself to Ghana, the first day of July 2. This is the first bilateral visit to the Prime Minister in Ghana.
Ghana is one of the fastest growing economies of Western Africa. India is the largest destination for Ghanaian exports, with gold being more than 70 % of Indian imports from Ghana.
John Maham, who was elected President of Ghana in January, visited India at the India-Africa forum in 2015.
Prime Minister Modi will meet President Mahama to review a strong bilateral partnership and discuss further ways to strengthen him through economic, energy and defensive cooperation.
Trinidad and Tobago Next
From Ghana, Modi will travel to Trinidad and Tobago on a two -day visit from July 3. It will be the first visit to the Indian Prime Minister in the country since 1999.
At least 40 percent of Indian diaspora in the Caribbean is settled in Trinidad and Tobag. Both Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bisses and President Christine Carla Kangaloo are of Indian origin.

During the visit, Modi will negotiate with President Christine Carl Kangaloo and Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bisses. It is also expected that PM will deal with a common meeting of the island nation.
The visit to Prime Minister Trinidad and Tobagu lends fresh impulses deep -rooted and historical links between the two countries, Mea said.
Argentina 4th July
Modi will fly to Argentina 4th July, where extensive interviews with President Javier Milei will continue to strengthen partnership in India-Argent’s in key areas, including defense, agriculture, mining, oil and gas, renewable energy, trade and investment.
