The Mega employment fair, organized by Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation in Malineni Lakshmaiah Women’s Engineering College here, recorded the participation of 48 renowned companies offering 1,426 work vehicles. The collector of the district of Guntur S. Nagalakshmi, who launched this event, urged unemployed youth to make the most of the opportunity.
The collector dealt with the assembly and noted that since the founding of the new government from June to March, 30 job fairs were carried out in the district, which provided employment to 1,536 individuals through 150 companies. It emphasized the importance of maintaining work and encouraged the youth to gain experience in the future and watch better roles.
PrathiPad Mla Burla Ramanjaneyulu emphasized the goal of the government to ensure the employment of 20 lakho youth under the vision of the Minister of Hrda Nara Lolesh. He noted that five job opportunities have already been created.
Police Superintendant S. Satish Kumar appreciated the initiative and called it a valuable platform for unemployed youth. Over 2,500 job seekers registered for the fair.
Officials assured that selected candidates would receive support if they were published outside their hometown, including help with language, accommodation and training. The organizers thanked the management of College for supporting the fair.
