44 civilian policewomen from Kerala Police Academy pass out
Female police trainees who have completed their training at the Kerala Police Academy take oath in a parade on Monday.
44 women civilian police officers of the 21st batch passed out of the Kerala Police Academy after completing nine months of basic training, marking their formal induction into the force. Armed Police Battalion ADGP Dinendra Kashyap took the salute at a parade held at Ramavarmapuram campus on Monday. The parade was led by Sajana Yusuf and M. Shafna served as Deputy Commander.

Awards were presented to trainees who excelled during the training period. The best indoor cadet was J. Fathimabeebi, the best outdoor cadet was Sajana Yusuf. Y. Majitha won the top scorer award and CM Fasila was selected as the best all-rounder.
The training program included modules in forensic science, forensics, penology, victimology and cyber forensics to equip recruits with the skills to meet modern policing challenges. Officials said the training also focused on the humane aspects of policing, including interaction with women, children, the elderly and gender-neutral communities, as well as prevention of crimes against the environment.
Kerala Police Academy Director K. Sethuraman along with members of the public and senior police officers attended the event.
