A truck carrying thousands of cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon goes missing in California, and Pabst Brewing Company wants the internet to help find it.
A US brewer has taken to social media after thieves allegedly used fake documentation to pick up a shipment containing 40,000 pounds (18,144 kg) of beer from a distribution center.
Police said the alleged thief arrived at the Anheuser-Busch distribution center in Montclair on Aug. 17, presented false identification and left with the shipment. $25,000 worth of beer was destined for San Diego.
Pabst reported the theft on Instagram with the message: “STOLEN – 40,000 pounds of beer.”
