Four Maoists, including two women carrying a collective reward of 18 lakh, were killed on Friday (May 23, 2025) by security staff in Maharašštře Gadchiroli, the police said.
The meeting took place along the Maharastra-Chhattisgarh border barely 25 km from where 27 Maoists, including Zambal Keshav Rao, aka Basavaraju, Secretary-General of the prohibited CPI (Maoista), killed Gadchirolius two days ago. Mr. Neelotpal, however, added that the killing of the cadres were active in the Mahari and the forces had another Gunbuttle ten days ago.

24 Maoists give up
In the related development with 24 Maoists, of which 20 members carrying a reward of 87.50 GBP, handed over before the police in the Chhattisgarh district in Bijapur, Bijapur Superintendent Jitendra Kumar Yadav said.
