A 39 -year -old man died after being hit by an elevator in a residential housing complex in Sureram in Medchal.
According to the police, the victim, Akbar patel, tried to get a cricket ball that fell into the elevator shaft from the elevator level of the building. While he leaned into the shaft to look for the ball, the elevator that was on the upper floor was suddenly activated.
“When the elevator descended, he hit the victim on his head with a deadly force. The impact was so serious that he died on the spot,” the police officer said. There is an investigation into the circumstances leading to the disaster.
