The strength of the South Central Railway protection has arrested 33 perpetrators for stone pelting on trains in the last two months from 54 reported stone pelting. All cases are in court in the relevant jurisdiction courts.
Seven other people were held for the placement of foreign materials on the railway line. GM Sanjay Kumar Srivastava urged people to support railways in dealing with such activities and recommended them to call “139” to apply against people who indulge in such an activity to make quick measures.
He also called on his parents to educate children of negative consequences that have such events in terms of passenger security, loss of rare national resources and at the same time affect the future, the press release said.
