Hyderabad Airport Metro Limited (Haml) reported that 311 real estate was obtained and 283 GBP Crore was paid so far, even though good progress in real estate demolition and debris in the old urban expansion in MG (MGBS) to Chandrayanagutt as part of the Metro III.
Hyderabad Metro Phase-II II, covering 76.4 km spread over five corridors, including the expansion of the existing first phase lines 69.2 km in the capital region, with estimated costs of 24,269 GBP Crore currently undergoing a joint project at various ministries.
Haml NVS Reddy CEO said that real estate owners have been fully cooperated on working with the government, which paid them an attractive compensatory package, mostly as prices for consent. Officials involved in demolitions of structures that are not heritage work carefully working on the day and night by performing the main tasks during the night to avoid disturbing traffic, he explained.
When performing work in the Old Town, several challenges are involved because of the close proximity of buildings that almost touch and the presence of interconnected electric, telecommunications and other cables, emphasized Mr. Reddy.
MD especially appreciated the work introduced by Haml officials for being patient with affected property owners, which explained the prices of consent and supervision of working on the road after dark. He reiterated that the relevant engineering solutions were adopted to protect the structures of the inheritance and that, as provided to the High Court, no structure of the inheritance will be touched.
Haml presented HC that even the demolished structure of the inheritance and that the alignment of the metro railway is far from the district of Charminar and Falaknuma. However, a campaign on social media, which is unfortunate, took place. The thing is sub-judice and it needs to be kept in mind, he added.
