The team of the Commissioner for Food Safety in Telangana carried out the inspection on March 27 in Aman Mithaiwala Private Limited, wholesale sweet trade in Malapur, uppal, revealing a serious violation of hygiene, according to official release. During the inspection, officials confiscated 300 kg of expired products and considered sweets in devices unfit for human consumption due to excessive use of food colors and mold infestation.
Food inspectors found that trade licenses were issued in incorrect jurisdiction. It was found that the kitchen floor was unhygienic and sticky, from the area coming from the area. Food service without basic protective equipment such as hair nets, gloves and aprons were observed. Other violations included tobacco stains on the walls and unclean storage room, which, according to the release, raised concerns about the overall safety and quality of foods made in the equipment.
