Three senior citizens, including a woman, were killed and 20 others injured in an accident near Kakol in Ranebennur taluk of Karnataka’s Haveri district on October 16 evening.
The victims are Chamansab Kerimattihalli (65), Mabusab Doddagubbi (65) and Ningamma Jigaler (70) of Malebennur in Davangere district.
All the injured are being treated at Ranebennur taluk hospital.
According to the police, the victims and the injured went to the wedding in a mini transporter. The accident happened when they were returning home. The driver allegedly lost control and crashed into a tractor parked by the road near Kakol.
The Ranebbur rural police have registered a case.
