
Almost four Lakh voters will perform their franchise to decide on the fate of candidates attacking the housing grounds in the election district of the Hills.
Bypoll was necessary due to the death of the BRS Mla M. Gopinath. Although the Election Commission has yet to announce the date for Bypoll, the elections will probably be held along with the elections of the Bihar Assembly.
The main election official of the State Election Office launched preparations for the upcoming selection. In accordance with this, the CEO’s office on Tuesday issued a proposal for the election district of the Jubilee Hills. In the election district there are 3.92 lakh voters, including 2.04 lakh men, 1.88 lakh female voters and 25 ‘other’ in the election district.
CEO C. Sudharshan Reddy said that the window for submitting objections and claims on the proposal of the voter’s list will be open until 17 September. Up to 407 polling stations will be established in 139 buildings extended after the election district.
The electoral office asked voters to verify their names and data in the election registration authority, intended for polling stations or online on the portal of the Theangan CEO. The requirements for the inclusion, deletion, repair or transposition can be submitted via forms 6, 7 and 8.
Objections would be disposed of by September 25 and the final election role would be published on 30 September. An appeal against the decision of the election official could be lodged pursuant to Section 24 Representation of the People’s Act of 1950 with the second appeal to the CEO.
