
A total of 272 individuals were booked during the weekend control of the traffic police in Cyberabad.
Among the perpetrators were 189 drivers of two rounds, 12 drivers of three rounds, 66 four -wheel drivers and five heavy -duty drivers, all men.
With 50 cases Miyapur led graphs, followed by Shamshabad with 43 cases and Shadnagar and Chevella with 32 cases. On the other hand, Raidurgam, Katpally, KPH and RC Puram had no cases followed by Madhapur with one case.
Police data suggest that 245 individuals have a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) between 35 mg/100 ml and 200 mg/100 ml, 18 perpetrators registered BAC levels between 200 mg/100 ml and 300 mg/100 ml, while nine individuals were found with exceptionally BAC values from 301 mg/100 ml to 500 ml/100 ml.
Those who are booked will be made before court proceedings. Cyberabad traffic police explained that anyone found that they were driving under the influence of alcohol and causing fatal accidents, arrested and prosecuted according to section 105 Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhit 2023, which concerns the murder returning. The maximum punishment under this provision is 10 years of imprisonment together with a fine.
