District collector Ch. Nagarani said on Friday (September 19, 2025) that it was proposed to be declared 24,927 acres of land under the aquaculture in the West Godavari district. The total range below the aquaculture is above 1.07 lakh acres in the West Godavari district. The Aqua District Committee on Friday reviewed the proposals for the inclusion of the land in the Aqua zone.
