On the occasion of Independence Day, the Center announced the award of the President’s medal for significant service and a medal for the merit service 24 officers/staff of the police Tamil Nadu. Medals are awarded twice a year in the day of the Republic (January 26) and Independence Day (August 15) according to the instructions for the government of India.
