Rohit Sharma was thinking about his remarkable possession of the Indian captain when he led the team back to ICC titles. In its last three ICC Limited-Over tournaments, India lost only one of the 24 matches, with defeat coming against Australia in the ODI World Cup finals November 19 at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad.
In 2024, India won at the T20 World Championship, which took place in West India and the US and won eight consecutive matches. Rohit’s team continued its dominant form in the champions trophy and won all five of his matches at the International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.
With this victory in Trophy Champions, Rohit became only the second Indian captain who won several ICC trophies. He joined Mrs. Dhoni (3), Souvrav Gangules (1) and Chapel Dev (1) in the elite list of Indian captains with ICC trophies.

“Play with freedom and without fear”
37 -year -old Rohit said that after India collapsed in the T20 World Cup semifinals in Australia 2022, they brought a change in thinking to change their wealth.
“It all started in 2022 when we played at the Australia World Championship. Although we did not get to the finals and got lost in the semifinals, we clarified the players we were expecting from them.Charcha with Rohit Sharma‘
“We stressed that for the purpose of performances the team needed to play with freedom, without fear. While we had some minimum, including the loss of several series, we did not panic. We remained faithful to our thinking,” Rohit said.
‘Is worth the celebration’
Rohit mentioned that it would be incredible if India won all 24 of her games, but also noted that the only defeat was acceptable. After India overcome heavy challenges to achieve success in ICC tournaments.

“When building a team, it is the first step to think about what the team needs and where we have not reached previous series or tournaments. We were constantly working on answering these questions. If you look at what this team has achieved at the last three main tournaments of ICC, it is incredible – just one defeat.”
“Imagine that we have won it. The three main ICC tournaments are unheard of that 23 out of 24 games are unheard of. Yes, the road looked impressive, but the team experienced many heights and minimum. They were difficult, but when you achieve something like that, it is worth celebrating,” Rohit added.
After fulfilling his duties with the Indian team, Rohit is currently with Mumbai Indians (Mi) for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
