217 graduate of St. John’s Institute of Allied Health Sciences

A total of 217 students graduated from the Institute of Allied Health Sciences, St. John’s Medical College, at its annual convocation held in Bengaluru on Friday.

The graduating group included students from various related medical fields. As many as 14 graduates and post-graduate students also secured ranks in the examinations conducted by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS).

Among them, Maria Renita Swathy secured the first position in the Master’s Program in Hospital Administration, while Payel Chakraborty bagged the first position in the MSc Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT). Sandeep secured third place in MSc MLT (Hematology and Blood Transfusion).

In MSc MLT (Microbiology and Immunology), Dhanasree Varrier secured second position, Bhat Divyashree Mahabala third position and Muhammed Shiyas fourth position.

In total, the institute has secured 14 university degrees, including two in bachelor’s, three in master’s in hospital administration, one in master’s in physiotherapy and eight in MLT’s master’s programs.

P. Ranganath Nayak, Senior Consultant Interventional Cardiologist, addressed the graduates and urged the graduates to uphold integrity and professional values ​​in their careers. He emphasized that quality healthcare depends on teamwork and urged the graduates to remain committed to the oath they took and the patients they will serve.

parish priest Fr. Jesudoss Rajamanickam, director of St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences, and other faculty members and dignitaries were present at the ceremony.
