On Saturday, 21 -year -old youth were arrested on Saturday for a brutal attack on a woman with an iron rod, that she resisted the robbery attempt in her house the previous day.
The police said the arrested person was identified as S. Mugilan, a resident of the city of Tirupattur. She is wearing minor criminal cases. The initial investigation revealed that in a leather merchant Bashir, 44 and his wife RESHMA, 38 living in Arif Nagar, which falls within the limits of Tirupattur. Around noon on Friday, Mugilan quietly entered the house where Reshma was alone.
The police said Mugilan allegedly tried to catch her golden chain and called Reshma for help. He immediately hit her head with an iron bar. He escaped from the Reshma cycle, which was parked in front of the house.
After heard the Roughma scream, the neighbors threw themselves into a place where they saw her to bleed her abundantly. Immediately rushed Reshma to the government hospital Taluk in the city where he is treated.
Based on the warning of the Tirupattur Municipal Police, the place was inspected. A special team searched the suspect Mugilan in a public place and found him on the bus term. The police arrested him and saved in a sub-yail in Tirupattur. The probe is running.
