JSS Medical College, Mysur, JSS Academy for Higher Education and Research (JSS AHER), hosted graduates for its MBBS students on Friday.
Achal Gulati, President and Vice -Rector of Chancellor Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences and Technology, Jaipur, who was the main guest, presented medal and award to success. The event was attended by Shivarathri Deshikendra Swami from Suttur Math.
During the ceremony, a total of 208 MBBS graduates received certificates, while six merit students were awarded 12 gold medals and 11 money prices for their academic perfection.
As part of the Graduates, they graduated from a hippocratic oath and reaffirmed their obligation to ethical medical practice. In addition, the faculty members were awarded the best prize of teachers for their determination of teaching, while the prize for the Excellency of Research was awarded the highest number of publications and citations.
The program was chaired by CG Betsurmath, executive secretary JSS Mahavidyapeetha, with the participation of other dignitaries, including B. Suresh, ProkanCler, JSS Aher, H. Basavanagowdappa, Vice -President of JSS Aher, and Narayanappa, director of JSS Medical College.
JSS Medical College, founded in 1984, is known for its academic perfection. JSS AHER is accredited by NAAC with A ++ grade and in the 24th place in the NIRF 2024 ranking.
Over the years, the College has produced 5 604 MBBS graduates and 2,490 postgraduate students who contribute to health care in India and abroad. As a recognition of its continuing perfection, the University of Evaluation Platinum Plus received from the evaluation of QS-I subjects for 2024, the edition of the University said.
